My trip last night to walmart..Lesson Learned!

There were TONS of the air wick freshmatic i -motions on rollback from nearly $12 down to $6.
I got 2 free with $6 insert coupon. i dont normally buy these, but for free, i will stick them by the garbage cans to freshen it up :)

The $1 tylenol bottles by the register have all been replaced with $1.25 boxes. but with the $2/1 tylenol extra strength insert coupon, it is still .75cent overage
I got 4, giving me $3 overage back.

Glade soy candles were $3.00 for medium size or $4.50 for large size. i got 4 of the mediums for free, plus .50 overage on each with the Hot IP coupon i posted yesterday. gave me $2 in overage back. (I am saving these in case there are unexpected power outages- i come from california, think black outs lol)

I got 6 kotex liners free with the $1 off any kotex product

2 lady speedstick teen spirit deodorant for less than .50 each. Used the $1.50 IP from last month. they were $1.98 shelf price.

I used the $5 overage to get a clearance toy for my son, a motorized truck. it was supposed to ring up as $5. but it rang up at $7.77.... ahhhhhh!!

Grocery items

4 LARGE boxes van de kamps seafood $3.92 each, used $3/1 smartsource IP from last month to get these for .92 each!

Honey bunches of oats. Used the $2/1 IP from last month to get 3 boxes for .50 each. ($2.50 shelf price)

8 boxes kashi go lean and 4 cartons silk soy milk for $18, ($34 before coupons)
Used the IPs i posted yesterday for kashi, and 4 coupons for free soy milk wyb 2 kashi peelies

4 packages of Sara Lee pre sliced lunch meat (found over by deli, not by regular lunch meat section), used the $3/1 facebook coupons, paid .98 a package!

4 boxes crystal light for $6 ($10 before coupons), used the $2/2 any crystal light insert coupons

I even bought $23 worth of non coupon items such as 8 apples, large bag carrots, 8 oranges, some v8 splash juice and corn tortillas, sour cream, guacamole, tostada shells, and grapes along with all the items i listed above!!

---So, the non coupon items made up half of my TOTAL out of pocket cost of $46.41 pretax.
♥And yet, i STILL PAID less than 50% OF the original cost of everything purchased. ($107.72 pretax)


♥♥Lesson is:
Even if you are using coupons for only some of the things you buy, this will help you to get more of your non-coupon grocery needs as well, and it is still possible to cut your grocery budget in HALF this way!
--You do not have to only purchase coupon related items and go without other things, in order to save money.
