Remember, it is not just certain juices which may contain more than the "approved" .5 micrograms of lead per serving. There are also certain canned fruits as well that may have more lead than you want your family to ingest.
Here, you will find a list of brands that were tested and found to be higher than .5 micrograms and ALSO the list of brands that were tested that did not test positive for lead.
Tree top apple juices are said to be safe from lead and that is on sale at albertsons this week for $1.69 :)
Interestingly, only one of the brands of the mixed fruit cocktail is listed as free of lead:
Del Monte mixed fruit. However, their fruit cocktails did not pass the test. go figure.
